Predator is a tuner you can buy to modify multiple paramaters on you car like when your fans turn on, modifying for a rear end change, adding fuel, changing shift points on an automatic etc. See the link for details on this. Other self tuners are also available.

Hurst shifter was where I started. And I am more into the asthetics end of things than performance since the car can do 175 out of the box and I have only been in the neighborhood once or twice. Fuel rail covers and radiator shroud and intake cover is another good start for the engine compartment. Along with a painted hoodliner. Then the trunk lid liner you can get from Westcoast Corvette's. The interior all depends on how much money you have to blow. There are so many mods for this car you won't believe. Have fun and watch your wallet.

For Performance: What we did first was...Intake, Heads, Cam, Long-Tube Headers. Then went with a 600 HP C5R-427.
Handling: Racing Brakes, Hotchkis (or T-1) Stabilizer Bars, 12-Point Adjustable Shocks (a huge improvement over stock & over Bilsteins), Nitto Race Tires

Yea... Just down the road a little bit..Unless you start getting into h/c or superchargers the stock is adequate. And the hurst short throw is about 200 bucks.. Pretty cheap in the c5 world where header back exhaust is $2,000 and wheels and tires are $4,000.
