To those who responded below.....
First. I am a C5 owner.
Second. I can ask/talk about any subject I dang well want to as long as it is not offensive in nature or contrary to forum rules.
Third. How about simply answering the question instead of smart remarks. Or say nothing at all.
Fourth. Lock this....

the front plate goes in the center above the opening, this is from a thread in the C6 section wher eit is an ongoing topic.
First:I am also a C5 owner
Second: I agree with you on your second point except that the C6 topics go in the C6 General section. If I want to talk about the C5 I don't post in the C3 section, I post in the C5 section. the reason for different sections on the forum is to keep the forum organized.
Third: don't take everything personal you have to have thick skin when on an open forum.
fourth: Don't go into the Off Topic section of the forum they will eat you alive.
just my opinion

Sometimes you just got to take some of the responses with a grain of salt. For the most part the forum is a great bunch of people. There are some great resources here that over time will help you with almost any problem that you can imagine happening to the car or will provide invaluable information on planned modifications.
But, posting in the appropriate forum section will probably get you better answers. Hopefully you don't get discouraged about answers to one thread. I've had it happen before too. I have come to realize that an open forum is just that, you get all kinds of answers.
Glad you own a C5 and are a forum member.

How 'bout this:
Use the right section so C5 General isn't clogged up with CRAP that doesn't belong here.
