MTI 422ci Z07 7.0L Engine for sale (SC)
Hi Everyone,
I'm going to list my engine one more time to see if anyone wants it. It is being pulled out of the car it's currently in and should be out this week. If no takers in the next two weeks, I'll be putting it into my next project.
I won't sell it for less than 10k, but that's a very good price for anyone looking for a large engine.
In short, it's MTI's Z07 package from about 20 months ago. At the time, they only had 422 ci displacement, while they are now at a full 427. It was installed in my car at 7694 miles and now has 12967 miles, so the engine has just over 5k miles on it.
I am not a mechanical guru and don't have all the details of the engine, so I'm just going to list what's on the receipt. I'm sure a quick call to MTI can give better details as to what's included in the package.
MTI1303 LS1 422 BIg Bore Stroker Motor
MISC New Block
MTI1306 LS1 Stage III Heads
CMP3719R/3705 MTI R1 Cam 112
CR10530-16 Hyd. Roller Lifters
MTI1212 Pushrods 7.400
MISC New Bolt and gasket set
JESKSS-307070 LS-1 Super Street Rocker
MISC Corvette Oil Pan
MISC LS1 Windage Tray
MISC Ported LS1 Oil Pump
MISC Oil pump pickup
GM88894339 LS-6 Intake Manifold
MISC LS1 Computer Tuning
MISC SLP Double Roller Timing Set
MISC Coolant Temp Sensor
LABOR Assembly
All said, the bill for these parts was over $19k. I also have some additional parts available to a possible buyer (built AT, 3.43 rear, Vigilante stall) but these parts won't be available at this time except for to the buyer of the engine.
Many of you know what an outstanding performer the Z07 package has become in competition. This engine dynoed at 480rwhp and 477tq.
More details can be found on MTI's website, however please keep in mind that they have changed a few things since installing this one as they have moved to the darton 427 sleeves.

This is your chance to get a great motor at nearly 1/2 price. Many have witnessed the pure power of the Z07 package in my car and can attest to how smooth it is. I currently am using a stock exhaust in it and while you can feel the cam, it's not louder than most stock cars with an aftermarket exhaust. On top of that, it still gets 25mpg on the highway!
Please let me know if you're interested. The engine is currently in Bristol TN. It will be available for the next 2-4 weeks, depending on the scheduling of my current project buildup (ie. if I start installing it into my current project in 2 weeks, it will become unavailable at that time).
Thanks,
Josh Meeks

DO you still have this motor? It may be a little more than I need but the price seems fair.
