On 75 South, a yellow C6 comes rushing up behind me, gets beside, points at my car and gives me the thumbs DOWN. Hope thats not an omen of things to come. The Z ran perfect the whole trip.
I would have gave him an obscene finger gesture, stuck my ZO6 in 3rd and handed him his azz. More than likely his car isn't broke in yet either. I don't see the C6 beating a ZO6 stock for stock yet.
When ever anyone gives me some sort of negative hand signal I smile at them and gesture vigorusly toward the midsection of my body with my index finger, shaking my head in the affirmative. "These are a few of my favorite things...."
This is the problem today, GM is trying to go after BMW and Porsche owners and these arrogant babies have NO IDEA what Corvette ownership is/means at all. Just go to the C6 section here and find out for yourself. It really started with C5 I noticed a "different breed" of owner already, now with C6 its only getting worse. As soon as something "new" comes along these people will drop there C6s like hot potatoes for the "latest thing". They are not at all brand loyal owners. Its a shame. Yes there will be a few nice C6ers but the rest of them WATCH OUT!
Happen to me all the time while I owned my C4, the C5 owners hardly ever waved (not everybody) or paid any attention to other Corvette owners. The way I looked at it these Corvette owners were not real Corvette people. So expect it. It's going to happen.Save the Wave.>George
If you wanna really read something funny read the thread about the "front end scraping" (in C6 General) Thats a dead give away they never owned a Corvette before. (It would also seem tape measure operation is hard for the poor dears as well)

If I owned a Z, I would have made sure he knew the proper pecking order in the performance car world He would probably not been able to sleep for a week after getting smoked by that "old ugly Vette" Maybe he would have felt so inferior and slow that he would have went out and sold the car.....to a real Vette enthusiast
I don't car what model vet your driving. If someone in another vet gave me a thumbs down, I would defintely give them my favorite middle finger right back.
