How do you feel about this package. Good deal? Overpriced or one helluva deal?
If overpriced, what is your laundry list of alternatives?
I am new to the world of corvettes having bought mine back in June. Just window shopping.
Thank you for your time.

I did this to my '04 (see signature).
Considering that my '99 has the LPE 427, I determined that the option associated with their other package needed to be considered.
I feel that that package is the most bang for the buck! It provides a great increase in RWT and RWHP for a very resonable price.
As a note, on the '04 I had them install 4:10s (on an MN6). If I don't hook up good in the '99, my S/O, driving the '04, smokes me out of the hole!

I'd give LG motorsports a call (www.lgmotorsports.com). They can beat those prices.
Nothing against Lingenfelter. They seem to have a great operation. But after visiting all the major shops in my area (DFW), I chose LG and I can tell you it was definitely worth it. Best service and quality of work of any shop I've ever been to.

If you are looking for the near stock idle, and great power and torque, the 430/400 is the way to go. If you want the "musclecar" idle, than the 500 HP heads and cam package is the way to go.
