Question about warnings on DIC
I have had this problem for two days in a row now. When I start up everything is operating normally, however after 30 minutes or so of driving my DIC comes on with the following messages: Check Active Handling System; Check Tire Mont. System; Check Tire Pressure; and also two warning lights come on: Active Handling and the Security Light.
Automatic door locks stop working and the windows stop operating.
I pull over, shut the motor off, take out the keys and wait about 15 minutes. Start the car up and all of the above goes off and the windows and locks start working.
Can anyone tell me what is happening and how to fix it.
I forgot to say also that the bell goes off that reminds you that the lights are on.
The car runs fine. The battery is only a year old and it is not leaking.
I am stumped on this one.
Any help will be appreciated.

I'd check the battery as well. Sometimes when they start to go South, they throw all kinds of crazy codes.

OK, you win the award for weird symptoms for the day! OK, my first guess would be that you may have an ignition switch going bad, or my second choice would be your remote receiver is acting up.

I would say weak battery...I believe it is my issue as well...Last week I got in and got most of those same messages after my car ( daily driver) sat for a 4 day vacation. Its been fine all weekand then this morning when I got in it said:
Reduced Power
Service soon
Service Active Handling
Active Handling warming up
I pulled the key opened the door closed the door fired it back up and everything was fine?????

Could be a bad grounding problem. Check the passengers side floor for water. If there is check the computer under the mat for being wet. Keep us posted.

Answer to Problem
To all of you who advised me about what to do, I want to thank you very much. My problem has turned out to be the battery. It had a bad cell, so I've replaced it and I hope that is the fix I was looking for. You forum friends are great!!
