Default suspension woes

i got BMR front and rear sways on 2 months ago, but when i hit bumps i feel something hit. Could it be hitting this black thing? Chevy and Pepboys said that everything was tightened down. No one can figure it out...BMR offered to look at it but its a 4 hour drive there.

You should be able to see telltale signs of contact where the paint/pc will be gone at the point where they touch if they do. Sway bars can sometimes hit other components which is why some of the aftermarket manufacturers supply restraining collars to restrict their movement.

Usually, if you start getting noises after a sway bar install, either they weren't sufficiently tightened, they have loosened up or their movement needs to be restricted.

If you're having Mike look at your car you might get them to just check to make sure the sway bars are properly torqued first. You may not need to restrict them.

Mike will fix you up. I'm sure he'll check the installation and ensure the fasteners are torqued properly.

Could be the leaf springs lost their arch...
I replaced my rear one & no more noise over bumps or dips in the road..
Just a thought........
