Default Tickets N Da Vette

Ok I've been driving my 04 since April and have managed to avoid a speeding ticket (so far)! The temptation to take liberties with the speed limits are strong . I haven't had a speeding ticket since 1976 as a measure of how I drive. Soooo my question is..How many tickets have you received because you were driving your vette.

None, so far! Came close a couple of times. Like pulling on to the Interstate and get the erge to stretch the Vette’s legs and some thing told me, Don’t do that, and then a patrolman goes by!

None and hopefully I'll keep it that way.
I avoid the temptation to 'stretch' the C5 legs around NoVA.

None! But one in the DD since I've owned the Vette..... Before the Vette - oh let's see, it probably been over 20 years.

Had one real close call in the Vette though - would have been 30 over.....

No tickie 4 me in 2+ years. I got ignored by radar cop while going 55 in a 45 recently. I don't speed much. I like blasting from 0-45 (or so) quickly. By then I'm smiling so much it diminishes my vision. Gotta slow down!

No way! I never exceed 70 on the freeway, 55 on two lane roads, and 25 in neighborhoods.

One in my 2000 for 48 in a 35 (I thought it was 40, really). But I've been pulled over and warned 5-6 times. I must have an honest face... BTW, The only one of my C5s I wasn't pulled over in was the Z06, go figure?

Got my Vette 2 years ago this month and have no tickets or been pulled over. Knock on wood. I try to pick my spots to stretch my legs.

My only speeding ticket in the corvette, was a guy with a chip on his shoulder, i was slowing down on an on ramp, and at the end of the corner there's a 35mph speed limit.....I was on a date, i wasn't showing off or pushing it...but that's my one and only speeding ticket....he walked up to the car said
"I'd ask you why you were going so fast....But, i know."

3 years no tickets. Pulled over 5 times. 75 in a 55, 70 in a 55 twice, 65 in a 55 twice. I've hit 150mph, but I did't get caught. I guess the cops like me. I keep it under 100mph 99% of the time.
