I know I have read something in the forum about this issue, but I can't find it. Is there a fix to to this, or do I just live with it. I am a little **** about keeping my car clean and spot free. This is almost as big of an issue with me as people watering their lawn, causing large pools of water to accumulate in the road.

DITTO!!!

Mine does the same thing. Except that I've noticed the liquid that emits during hard acceleration is NOT washer fluid, but rather water (most likely from the most previous washing) that has settled and remained in that screened-in little air-intake area at the base of the windshield on the driver's side.

You can instantly tell how hard a Z06 has/has not been driven by the quantity of hard-water spots at the base of the windshield on the driver's side!

I believe everyone experiences this, unless you do not hard excelerate I am not aware of a fix for the problem.

Would like to know if there is one though.

I have the same problem, especially when I am autocrossing the car. The only solution I have found is keeping the windshield solvent level low. Some times after a run, I find the cap is slightly tilted, I even tried taping the lid down but it comes out the breather hole in the cap.

There's a fix using a check valve. It's described in this thread. http://www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/Foru...ML/019361.html

Going up a steep hill and punching it really lets the bug juice flow. Eventually it will run out of washer fluid. Sure beats oil consumption problems.

I have not noticed this one, but I have not filled it yet either.

I have a problem with loose items flying all over the interior when I'm trying to drive. I hit the brakes hard once and the folded sun screen went flying from its perch behind me and then the wind from the open windows opened it up right beside me! That was fun batting that thing down and trying to avoid other traffic! Now I stuff it under the seat

Thanks for the link to check valve fix. I will look into it. Now I just need to find a fix for those sprinklers!

Aargh!! I hate that too! How hard is it for people to grok that no matter how much you water the concrete, it doesn't grow! [img]http]//www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/rolleyes.gif[/img]
