If that particular article is accurate it looks like 425 HP could be the new number for the 03 Z06. It'll still be 75 short of the new Viper but what the hey; every little bit counts!

But if rumors are true, the car will ultimately get down to about 2800 lbs - much lighter than the Viper. It's not just horsepower, it's power to weight, and Dave Hill has always been passionate about finding ways to get weight out of the car. We'll see....
