Kwiklift for c5
Is anyone useing a kwiklift for there c5. I've thought of getting one of these lifts for about a year now. If your not familiar with it try http://www.kwiklift.com/index.htm , I don't have a lot of ceiling clearance so this would be a good choise for me. I'm concerned about the clearance driving on the ramp so if anybody else has one let me know how you are making out with this lift. Thanks for any feedback.

No problems with clearance BUT that was after I built ramps to get my C5 up onto the lift.
When using the lift to get the car in the air like this, there are NO problems
I also park on mine when the Kwiklift is flat on the floor so I had to build ramps to get the car up onto the left while it is in it's full down flat postiion.
The pictures will show you that in order to get the car up without scraping the rockers under the door, ramp extensions were also added to lift the rear wheels enough to prevent bottoming out half way up.
My car is lowered about 1"

I keep the ramps connected to the front pedestals at all times and just drive up on them when pulling in garage. I just make sure to use parking brake and chock the rear wheels when parked. My car is lowered on factory bolts with no issues of scraping front end. These pics show the ramp in fully raised piosition.

Just a quick question, is there a particular reason that you "back" on the lift??
Or, are you like me, just to kinda - look goooooood !!!!
And it does look goooooood !!!

I backed onto mine while changing rear and tranny fluids a month or so ago. Didn't want that big cross tube in my way.
Oil change, nose 1st.

I am looking into getting a lift, this one looks nice. Can you remove a catback setup with this lift (is it high enough off the ground). Thanks
