A painting company came to my complex to paint and every time they painted i moved my vette to a safe location, but i was waxing my car today and noticed little white spots all over the car. i tried every wax i had Mothers, Flet wax, Eagle 1 Nano wax and nothing worked. dose anyone know anything that will work or do i have to take it to a body shop, some info would be greatly appreciated.
I think we need to get one of those answer buttons/buzzers like in "family feud" four people all answering at the same time
I guess cob206 gets the prize
YEP,,,,,,,,,, clay bar to the rescue! I just use a good soapy solution of car wash for the lubricant and when you get done your gonna say" WOW,why have I not been using this clay bar stuff all along!!!
Your car will be silky smooth!! Then it is time for a GOOD coat of WAX! You WILL be verry impressed with the results!

Same thing happened to my wife's lexus while driving past a gas station on a windy day. Clay bar did not help us. My wife removed all the spots that were visual with her fingers and it did not scratch the paint. Eventually the smaller spots came off, yet the painted wheels were toast and the gas station replaced them after having several complaints filed. Clear coat should protect the paint since most apartments are painted with latex based paints. Good luck!
many years back, my mother's car had the same thing happen at her workplace. She and everyother person who had overspray got a free exterior detail out of it. Talk to some neighbors and maybe you can gang up on the mgmt co. and get the same. That is, of course, if you'd be willing to let someone else detail your car
I work at an Airport and they were building a new hanger. I noticed the white speckels all over the car. Went to the hanger and asked for the project manager. Today they told me to take it anywhere i want and give them the bill.
Get your lawyer to claybar it. Seriously, a painter is an absolute idiot to spray outside even in windless conditions. They are responsible for their carelessness.
I had an apartment complex do the same thing years ago. Went to MGT, and they contacted the contractor - Without a question, they said take it and get it fixed. They paid the entie bill.
I had the same thing once when I took the car into the dealers. They fixed it up and gave me some clay bar incase I found some more. It was my initiation to clay bar. It works on your glass and plastic it's an incredible product. Don't detail without it.
