Yes, It does look expensive but I am sure that they are looking at where and who to get the best price from. They are really trying to get things done without throwing money away. Wendel is really on the ball and has really done an excellent job thus far. They do need all the $$ they can get to keep this great hobbie in the forefront.

At first glance the prices seem high, but I truly believe that the staff at the NCM try to be very aware of how they spend the money they receive. I have donated on many occasions and feel I get my money's worth. The prices may just be estimates and hopefully they will be able to secure a better deal.

Looking at the prices, the only thing that looks high to me is the reseal of the parking lot; however, this probably includes re-striping afterward (hope they add a few more "Corvette Only" spots.
The remainder seems about right. The carpet may look high in price, but this is a big area, and it has to be heavy duty industrial carpeting or else they would be replacing it every five years. I would also imagine it is specific colors, and might not be just off the shelf.
I would have to believe that they have researched the projects and sent out to bid for all the items.
They could save money on the reseal, if during their next anniversary party. Purchase a thousand gallons of sealant, a few hundred spreaders, and pass them out to the Corvette owners as they arrive and park their cars on the grass.
