cutting the hood

I thought about getting a new hood but they are kind of expensive so i figured cutting some vents in my existing hood. I was wondering if any one has done this and if so do you like pic etc.

I've seen pics of this one too. Nice job. Haven't seen any others though that have cut holes in the stock hood.

I ve been drinking my sorrows away, plus im a little tired from putting in double shifts everyday at the ale house. but my baby will be up and running even if i pass out trying

I also seem to remeber someone offered to make a copy of the template they used to cut the hood for the Mag.

I wonder waht the long term effects of this has been? I would still worry about the rain and such.
