MTI made my Christmas!
Hi folks,
After reading about MTI's unhappy customer, I thought I would tell you about my great experience.
I ordered the H/C combo that MTI had on special last Friday (Dec. 17), and was told that it would take about 2 or 3 weeks to get a set of LS6 heads completed. No problem.
I called back on Dec. 20 to add an underdrive pulley to my order, and asked when the heads might ship. They said they would call back and let me know. Later that day they e-mailed a link with my UPS shipping number that said I would receive everything on Christmas Eve!
After thinking about it, I was worried that they might have shipped me LS1 heads instead of LS6 heads. I called Steve at MTI, and he said that he shipped me a set LS6 heads that were destined for their "shop" car, because they wanted me to have my heads in time for Christmas. Now I have something to do next week while I'm on vacation. BTW, they did not charge my credit card until the order shipped.
To me, this is the very definition of customer service. Based on my experience, this is the only tuner I will deal with in the future.
