Here you go big boy, let's not depend on your memory or mine. Here is the thread.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...or-an-frc.html
I actually went through some of you old posts and in one of them you state that you sometimes make comments just to bait people to help you weed out those you need to put on your ignore list. That is all well and good if that is what you need to feel superior but I have no ignore list, I stand by what I say and I can even take a hit when I deserve it.

Ignore list? What's that?
Seriosuly, I used the feature on a football forum where you have all sorts of douches. But on corvette forum? I know we have a few but fortunately it is very few!!

Then I read a post where a guy said he joined the FRC (Flying Roof Club) because he didn't secure his targa top. So when I would see a post about FRC I would think dam a lot of people don't take the time to make sure its secure.
Now as far as being thin skinned it gets old when I post some douch (to quote JaxEagle) has to comment about my car when it has nothing to do with the post.
Now as far as the ignore list I wish that if someone quotes a person that is on that list I don't have to see it.

Did I say I hated the FRC? Did I bash the FRC? I asked a question. H*ll to be honest I had no idea what a FRC was because if the top doesn't go down I never bothered to give it a look.
That tells us a lot about your views of anything other than what you possess. But you are just being honest, can't fault you for that!

FRC is also used very frequently for fuel rail cover. Don't want you thinking that someone is off there rocker when they post about their fuel rail covers and you see in your mind their roof flying off.

The height of sensitivity????

I did all this typing to try and clarify my position and I hope it is received in the spirit of understanding even if you disagree.

Besides, ugly never goes out of style. Take the '59 Caddy for example.
The '98 Pace Car will be the most valuable C5 in years to come, based on the low production. They made 6 times as many '78 Pace Cars, and they bring a strong premium over a standard '78 Vette.
I actually believe they are one of the best Corvette investments now, as prices are very reasonable. There is just to few of them to ignore the appreciation potential.

Does anyone know if having the 1998 Corvette Indy Pace Car editon should demand a premium in the pre-owned marketplace at this time?
I have the opportunity for one that has 39,000 miles on it and appears to be clean otherwise. The guy is asking $35,000 according to what I can find that seems a little steep. Any opinions.

I agree, the Pace Car turns heads like no other C5. If unique is what you seek, consider a '98 Pace Car.

I am looking at '98 Pace Car with 47,500. Gorgeous car but needs 2 tires the other 2 are about half. The climate control panel is dark and the AC does not blow with the force it should. Lots of paperwork, no paintwork, super clean all the way around. The asking price is $19,000. Seller is second owner for the last 13 years. Thinking of making an offer. BTW, its a manual and one of the last Pace Cars built Vin #20006. Comments and appraisals appreciated! Thank you!
