[Z06] stupid questionabout zo6
And does this mean anything?
Cuz I want to one of these!

When I look at my original window sticker:
The first line in the upper left corner is "2004 CORVETTE Z06".
The type font shows clearly the difference between the letter "O" and the number "zero".
The "O" in Corvette is not the same as the "0" in 2004.
The "0" in Z06 is the same as the zeros in "2004".
Therefore, I conclude (actually I already knew), it is Z "zero" 6.
But, it is, as always, pronounced "Zee oh six". In the U.S.
This follows the GM convention for defining "options", sometimes upgraded to "model", like Z28, Z71, etc.
The ways of the General and the car community are deep and mysterious.
And, please, no crap from the Canadians about "Zed oh six". I know, I know. I have a '71 Zed28.
I pulled a "real" Trans-Am Camaro to St. Jovite, Quebec track in 1968 on a open trailer,
and all I heard was poor kids on the side of the road yelling "Zed 28, Zed 28".
It was only the 2nd year for Camaro and the Z28. They LOVE road-racing in Canada.
Excuse me, I have to go pick more nits and fight some ignorant folks about "Porche-ah" or Porche"

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Sorry, couldn't resist.
For DrValidus, as you can probably tell, its a zero that we all pronounce as an "oh". Hope you are able to get one. They are great cars.
