Service Manual
I am a newbee to the site and want to say it's great.
I was looking for a service manual for my C5 and came across this website.
Service Manual
These guys had what I needed and their customer service was fast.
I wanted to post something that I felt every C5 owner could use.
LIVE, BREATH, EAT C5.

Yes I did. Much beter than paper manuals. Very detailed. Also has all wiring diagrams that I can see. Very detailed when it comes to Service Engine soon light code problem. It also has bulletins and campaigns that are hard to find out from the dealer.
I just put my VIN number in and my car came up with all the information.
I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and wish I had found it sooner.
Can't go wrong for the price.

Have you ever seen the factory service manuals? I want to know if the software contains all the content of the factory manuals. I'm just wary of it being third-party info. I mean, sometimes 3rd-party stuff can be better than original, but there are some things that 3rd-party material never gets right, or seems to lack.
For example, in the 98 C5 3 volume set that I sold awhile back on this forum, the manuals contained stuff on common problems, presumably added from data gathered based on service reports via delaerships. Kind of like FAQs. One section, in particular, that really stands out in my mind is the section on common body problems, like leaks, rattles, and the like.
Does the software include all that stuff?
The reason I'm asking is because I just got my notice from Helm, the publishers of the GM manuals, that they finally (after months) have the manuals for my year in, and I wanted to make a decision soon.
Thanks a bunch!

From what I can see from using the program it has everything the paper service manual has. I went to the engine controls section and it does have symptoms. Like hard start, surging and so on and gives a description on what to look for.
I would say it has what the paper manual has and more. I have been able to find everything I want so far with ease. Very simple to navigate and seems to be just like the sections of the paper manual.
I have another GM vehicle and it is in the manual too.
If you have a 1998 and up GM vehicle it will be in the manual from what I can see.
Hope this helps all of you.
