Recently purchased the red fuel rail sticker set from Eklers for the raised section with stipes and the 5.7L symbol. Question I have is regarding installation. After looking at the set it is all on one piece of vinyl and the best method I can see is to split it down the middle leaving 2 pieces. Applying each side and using an exacto knife to cut around the stripes and lettering to remove the transparent vinyl. I'm thinking that if I cut it all out before application, I will never get the stripes straight.

The one I bought was all separate pieces.... I took the fuel rail covers off and cleaned the surface real good with 3M adhesive remover. Then I "painstakingly" installed all the pieces, one at a time.
The worst was the dot between the 5 & the 7.
Surprisingly, it's managed to stay on all through the hot Phoenix summer and still looks pretty good. If I was going to do this again, I'd probably paint the raised stripes and numbers......
Just a thought for you. I used a Testors paint pen on my LT1 fuel rail covers and for the LS1 I will probably do the same thing. They turn out great and you don't have to worry about them pealing off or getting them on crooked either, and it costs only a few bucks as well. The pens come in all colors as well.
