Just wanted to post about my new (to me) C5. Years ago I had a C7 Z51 that I loved. Eventually sold it and live with that regret everyday. Decided to jump back in on this 2004 with a few nice packages on it. The person who sold it was the original owner. He kept it in the garage for 22 years and only drove it 15k miles. Working through basic maintenance like fluids and soft parts now. I absolutely love the pop up headlights. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to resist adding some power to the legendary LS!
Mine is also an ‘04. Bought mine 5 years ago with 27k miles. I still had issues pop up right away like the slave cylinder and then the driver side fuel tank. This model year actually had a recall for the leaky gas tank, so it would be worth checking if yours was already replaced. Also, this year is where they changed head bolts over from all one size to two sizes, which will depend on your car’s particular build date.

My wife. I love her to bits. But she'd kill someone if she drove stick even if it were just a civic. She would find a way to flip, spin, slide, or somehow get the car to do a flying spin kick.
