Piaa 1100X lamps = http://www.mvpautoparts.com/product....0&cat=0&page=1

Piaa 9005 Xtreme White Series Bulbs = http://www.mvpautoparts.com/product....0&cat=0&page=1
Piaa 9006 Xtreme White Series Bulbs = http://www.mvpautoparts.com/product....5&cat=0&page=1
This is a great upgrade and will significantly improve your C5 lighting system, guarantee!!!!! All the people that have these Piaa lamps can certainly vouch for them!!!
If your C5 already has the stock fogs, you can reuse the brackets to mount these Piaa lamps. However, if your car doesn't come with the stock fogs (such as the Z06's), you will need to purchase the custom mounting bracket kit. The Piaa kit comes complete with all required wiring harness, relay and a switch. But if you would like to purchase a stock Corvette fog lamp switch, the part number is 12135155 (gmpartsdirect.com).
If you want to upgrade the headlight bulbs at the same time, I would like to recommend the Piaa Xtreme White Plus series bulbs. These bulbs put out a very nice and bright white beam, NOT anything like those cheap blueish bulbs you see on many Imports. Additionally, the bright white beam from these bulbs matches the beam color from the Piaa 1100X fog lamps very well.
Many Corvette Forum members run this combo, Piaa 1100X lamps and Piaa 9005 (highbeam) & 9006 (lowbeam) Xtreme White Plus bulbs for the headlights. These Xtreme White Plus 9005 & 9006 bulbs WILL NOT cause any problem with the stock headlight wiring harness. Additionally, they are both DOT compliant bulbs.

How is it going? Anything new? Are you going to make it to Snowman's party in June? I'll talk to you later.

For anyone thinking about the upgrade, it is great! I added the PIAA fog lights to my Z. Helped a lot!! I have dealt with Tuan Le for my fog lights and for the parts needed to add my XM Satellite system to my Z. Tuan will treat you right!!

Tuan, hi. I just received my fogs and can't wait to put them on. You've been great! Thanks again. One thing, do you have the thread that shows the install of these into the stock fog switch hookup? Dale

Hey Tuan,
This looks like a great deal I'm glad I came across this thread. Can you or anyone tell me how hard it is to do this install????
Something I can do (read very little skill, usually drop bolts that disappear into the reccess of the car) or something I would need to have done???
I really like the Idea of doing the set as Tuan suggested with the High and low beams. The lights are really poor, and some of the other options are way to expensive.
Thanks for the feedback, and don't tell my wife
PS I have a Zo6 so would need to do the bracket and switch as well.

Hi Gonzo,
How is it going? The install itself is not hard at all, but is a little time consuming though. You are looking at about couple hours for the whole install. Anyone that can read and follow step-by-step instruction can certainly get this done. It does not require any special tools.
Here are couple links to the install instructions. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Have a great weekend, Gonzo.

(As for the wife, don't leave any forum traces on the computer. Remember to clear out all browser caches. )
