VetteSiNz,
Hotchkis sway bars are on backorder until June 17.
rickko,
The factory Z06 sway bars are nowhere near as aggressive as the GM T1 bars. Having the GM T1 sway bars on a Z06 allows you to push the Z06 farther during high speed track events or during aggressive street driving.
I have personally driven Z06s on the track and street equipped with the factory sway bars, Hotchkis sway bars and the GM T1 sway bars. I can honestly say that there isn't a sway bar package on the market that allows the Z06 to corner as flat as it does during high speed road courses or handle the way it does with the GM T1 sway bars.
The factory sway bars are adequate for those that drive the Z06 strictly on the street and not that aggressive if they visit the track.
The Hotchkis sway bars are a step up from the Z06 factory sway bars so the Z06 feels more dialed in during aggressive driving. The Hotchkis sway bars allow you to get a bit better handling out of the Z06, however they are a few steps lower than the GM T1 sway bars.
There is nothing like the GM T1 sway bars. They are the ultimate in handling and a set of GM T1 sway bars and a set of Bilstein sport shocks will put your suspension in a whole new world. Just try it and you will see.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to email us at: Sales@TheLAPD.com
Thanks!

While it's true the handling characteristics are quite improved for racing with these bars, they are somewhat noisy (squeaky). If the noise doesn't bother you it's a tremendous upgrade.
