FS: JL Audio C5 Stealth box!
I have a true JL Audio Stealth box For sale. This box is in excellent condition and comes with a new JL 10w1 sub. The JL Stealth boxes come with 10w3 subwoofers, but the 10w3 in this particular one had got damaged and so it was replaced with a JL 10w1.This box sounds really good with this sub. Asking $299.99. This will fit all C5's including the Z06. Trimming of the carpet may be necessary for Z06 applications.

I don't have any pics right now of it in the car, but can get you some tomorrow. The box sits flush and I believe allows the use of the stock compartment cover. I know JL Audio makes a cover strictly for these with a grill built into them, but I am not positive of whether or not the stock compartment cover will fit without any issues. Maybe someone else will chime in with a better answer.

I am using one of these boxes.
The stock compartment cover cannot be used because there is no port for the speaker. Also, if you pull out your stock back cover, there is metal reinforcement that gets in the way of cutting a hole for the speaker port.
What you need to do is cut a new board out of 3/8" MDF, using your stock cover as an exact template. Next you need to cut a 10" port hole for the subwoofer to radiate sound from, cover the 10" hole with perforated sheet metal, and recover the new board with carpet. Or take it down to any local car audio shop and have them do it. It is really pretty easy because the stock cover is your template.
The JL Audio sub box is FIBERGLASS, which means it will not weigh down the very back of the car, and MDF boxes are HEAVY. It fits underneath the stock lock down tabs so the cover still fits flush and still uses the stock lock down tabs. It is also tuned to the 10W3 subwoofer and tuned to the interior of the C5 coupe. It sounds very good!!!
