Default FS 3:42 Rear End

It is out of the car and will be ready to ship over the weekend (10-9-09). Figure $50 to ship to the lower 48. First one to paypal me $450 gets it. geekyle@yahoo.com

I can email pictures. It has the GM tag that says 3:42 and looks like every rear end in c5 corvettes.
I am going to switch out my rear end next week and wanted to see if there is any interest in someone buying it. Currently it has a seal leak. This is my daily driver so I am going back to a 2:73. Englundgreen is going to do it for me in Houston. I was going to ask $400 plus shipping or local Houston pick up. Anyone interested?

It has about 60K miles on it and will need a new right seal. Of course I would replace both seals and cover gaskets if I were you.

After in comes out, I will make sure there are no problems and post pictures. Give me a week or two. BTW, this thing makes a big difference from 0-100 mph, but I have it in a daily driver and really would rather have the lower rpms and gas mileage.

I am curious as to how big the difference in RPM's is at 60 mph between the 3:43's and the 2.73's? (There is probably some mathematical computation that you can do to figure it out, but I am not that smart.....)

Hi, I have a Complete diff from a C5 with 2.73 gears, it may need seals also, I'll take $200 + freight...

My car is an 99 Auto. It runs 2400 to 2500 rpm at 80 mph. I don't know what it was before, I bought the car with the 3:42.

TTT

I will post pictures in a couple of days. It is out of the car and will be ready to ship by the weekend. I have been selling several items on here lately and have been having people flake out after they told me they wanted the item and lost out on selling to someone else because they found it elsewhere.

From now on whoever paypals me first gets the item. Paypal is geekyle@yahoo.com.
