Ok, here's a dumb question. Why don't you chamfer your cross drilled holes? A hole drilled flat will crack due to the sharp edge. This is why cross drilled crankshafts have a chamfered oil hole.

Besides, the real advantage of cross drilling is NOT heat dissipation; it is outgassing. Pads outgas under extreme heat and built pressure, thus making them "fade" because they literally lift the pad from the surface.

This is one reason in racing you bed in green pads, so that you heat them several cycles to outgas as much as possible to reduce outgassing when it is necessary.

Cross drilling allows the gasses to escape from under the pad through the rotor and out the venting, preventing the fade you have on a solid rotor.

Nice. Post an ad in C4 section, I would think they would sell very well.

You say in the opening post "these are not ebay" rotors. Is there a problem you or others have noticed with ebay rotors? Ive been riding on my ebay rotors/pads for over 5000 miles and havnt had an issue at all. Should I expect to in the near future

Alot of the rotors on ebay are made with inferior and soft metals which means they won't last very long and are subject to wrapping.

That's a good question. I'd like to know that myself.

The cross drilled holes in mine are chamfered but not visible in the photo and they fit great! Love them and I would recommend them to my corvette friends.

lmao. drive the $hit out of ur car. REALLY drive the hell out of ur car. take some back roads and get on the brake going 110+ for half an hr or so. go autocrossing events, go to track days, then come on here and tell me ur ebay rotors are working great. those rotors get warped and get stress cracks not to mention heat stress/marks

So I guess hes probably fine if hes not beating the hell out of his car huh? Most guys dont auto cross or get on the brakes at 110 mph. Theres no rotors that wont do that at this price point.

Our rotors get open tracked and auto-crossed all the time and we have zero issues with them cracking or warping.

Bad ***! I really like how the slotted rotors look. I may just break down and buy a set really soon!

Another question, do these have warranty against warping or cracking? i do plan on tracking these...

Also,

Yes we do.. do you want the caliper brackets powder coated to match the red of the C5Z calipers?
What is the price diffrence on the bigger rotors and caliper brakets?

I may want to go this route too..

AND... lol

ALL rotors will crack and/or warp if pushed hard enough. If Brembos and Baers warp and crack around the holes then any rotor will do the same.
