You're tellin me, I hate the sun here - the AC in my C5 went out last Thursday so it's gonna be a rough summer.

I've done lots of business w/ Gene and Patrick. When I'm ready to replace it I'll have to give them a call. Compared to the C5, how difficult is the C6's projector to replace?

This is typically caused by the Photodiode going bad or needing resoldered. (very small device on the circuit board)

A new photodiode can be purchased for a couple of dollars, just takes a little bit of circuit board soldering.

Do a search on "photodiode hud" and you'll find plenty of information out there on this topic

My HUD has sunk. Looks like i need the rivets replaced. Any chance you will be in the NY/LI area anytime in the foreseeable future?
or, how far up in CT are you? maybe i can make a day trip up there...

How much for a HUD unit? I think mine has fallen off the track because I can see it working at the very bottom of the unit but it will not adjust up and down with the switch.

I have a 99 and want to put HUD in my car. I can get the projector kit with the buttons online but can't seem to find the wiring harness. Where can I pick one up or do you sell them? How much if you sell it?

And really quick, are all 99's HUD ready?
