If they dont want to tap the oil pan you can get an adapter and drain it to the dipstick location. Not preferred but you can do it that way.

Or go to a local hardware store get a plug fitting and call vortec and buy the dipstick and fitting

I prefer oil fed all the rather than oil that just sits in there

They say they want you to change it every other oil change...this isn't some fox body mustang your pulling the head unit off of...its rather irritating taking the head units on and off like that

People don't realize it's 10 min to tap the pan while the rack Is out
