To me, the Fusion with the tips closed seems pretty comparable in terms of loudness to the stock system, though I'd still say it's a deeper tone. Obviously with the tips open it's a night-and-day difference from stock, but I think that's what most people are looking for. Hope that helps!

Thanks,
Dave

Default Opinion on the PRT's?

Hi I am thinking about buying a set of these and wonder what you think of them? I currently have Borla catbacks and looking for something a little quieter when I start it up in the morning as well as cruising without a drone...
tks!!

I have the B&B speedway - no X-pipe. Mild drone around 1500 rpm. With an M6 its not a big deal as I can work around that RPM range for any long periods of time. I'm confident they are quieter than your setup.

Purchased my B&B x-pipe through southern car parts a couple weeks ago, I was very pleased with the communication and fast shipping! Would recommend them to anyone shopping around for aftermarket exhaust parts. Thank you!

Just bought the PRT system from you yesterday and it showed the speedway tips as an option (nothing said about being discontinued) which I took, the speedway tips are the ones in the video arent they, or am I confused about that?

Here is a picture from the Billy Boat website.
It looks to me like the car in the video has elliptical exhaust tips.

The PRT system is probably the best bet for you. Exactly what you described without any drone. Ignore the tips, sound is the same but that tip style has been discontinued.

This is what confused me, saw what you said then watched the vid and it had the speedway tips and thought those were the ones that had been discontinued lol

Just wanted to say thanks to Southern Car Parts, they are real stand up guys there...........I just placed an order yesterday and the items were already shipped. I'm having issues with another well known vendor (NOT SOUTHERN) being they sent me a rear blackout kit that did not fit. They basically told me they didn't believe me that the items did not fit. Believe me I will be posting the name and the email trail for you all to see if this is not resolved fast!

Which system are you looking for? The Bullet is the most aggressive, the PRT provides a great muscle car tone with enough muffler to be a comfortable highway cruising setup, and the Fusion retrofits your car with a dual-mode vacuum controlled option that you can manually switch between louder and quieter modes.

Sure can. Do you know which rear section you'd be interested in?

If you'd like some detailed information and have time to talk it over on the phone, feel free to give me a call at 888-631-1433.
