I must be missing something. This seems like a smokin' deal, why hasn't it sold? Is this engine not suitable for the street since it is being billed a road race motor? I would think it would be pretty dependable for the street, am I mistaken? I am looking to replace my 2001 oil-eater-engine, but this is really more than what I was thinking regarding cost and performance (although, is it really possible to have too much performance?).

Anyway, I keep seeing this ad and just can't believe it hasn't sold, so I was curious. That is all. Thanks.

I've been wondering the same think ! It IS a sweet deal for a zero mile rebuild, premium component, pro built motor. Its spec'd out as a road race motor, that could see occasional street use (to/from track for example). IMO its a bit overkill for a strictly street motor - but thats just me.
