I have never installed the "full" t1 part set which includes different springs and shocks.
What will make a car "rough" IMO is mostly stiffer springs and stiffer shocks.
Sway bars and bushings work mostly in turning.
Sway bars control the lean of the car (weight transfer) and bushings the crispness of steering & feedback to driver of what the car is doing.
The bushings also help keep dynamic alignment settings closer to static alignment settings.
This is not a thread on car setup of course and I have totally oversimplified what all these parts do.

I have used all three on my c5z.
The nice part about the t1 UCA's is that, IMO, the front UCA is where you get the most bang for the buck when you go to higher durometer rubber. It's a piece of cake to install, compared to installing poly.
I have a video on poly bushing install and relube on my YT channel, click below. It's pretty advanced wrenching IMO.
Poly "may" squeak depending on the quality of the kit and whether or not you (or your mechanic) correctly install them. They require at least annual maintenance (more if you put on a lot of miles) and make the ride harsher than the t1 rubber bushings.
If you put in just what I am selling, the t1 UCA, I doubt at all you could tell the ride difference, but you would benefit from the crisper handling and would no longer see the arm and bushing part ways.
