Kit is new, got it from a member here, I tried one one tail. Other wise never been on a car. The 2 rear side marker covers have no sticky tape on them. The tails screw on over the lens.

The rear tails screw in, the side markers have no tape, the back ups and the top brake covers have original unused tape on them.

Why the side markers don't have tape, I have no idea. To make them work you will need some clear double sided sticky tape.
