Need 4L60E torque converter
I have to sell my C5 and as it has a 4000 stall lock up converter in it, nobody seems to be interested. What I plan to do is break the car down and put most of the stock parts that were on the car when I bought it back on, but one thing I don't have is the stock converter. Even if I can find a more "street friendly" converter like 2400 or up to 3200 unit it might help sell the car. Please let me know what you may have laying around....I'm sure somebody kept the old removed unit and it's just getting in the way.

I think I've still got my stock one kicking around. You can have it. I'll bring it to Tommy this week.
I'll check when I get home tomorrow.

Let me know if you do have it as Bob T. told me today he also may have one but he needs to check his shop to see if it's been used or not.

Thanks to all the PM's about new units you guys have, but even a discounted New unit will be to rich for me under the circumstanses. The labor to install plus $400 or more for an unused converter means I'd have to raise the price of the car to cover another expense. I would rather lower the price an additional $1000 then put out more money that I don't have. Please don't get me wrong, I really appreciate all the offers but I just can't put out that much money as I just don't have it to play with.

I did not say that, I said guys that offered "NEW" units, not used ones. I fully expect to pay shipping on something like this, but add that charge to a "NEW" or "NEARLY NEW" unit and the cost could be $500+ for the converter & then shipping on that. This is what I am saying would be to much with the cost of the installation.
