Callaway Honker siting alert; Ebay.
No affiliation. Somebody here should snap this thing up. I'd consider it, and maybe even will. Just seems like a tough one to check and clean filters on, etc. for me. It's a bit dirty, but still probably worth a look.

Melting Slicks
Not tough to check. See the two knurled ***** on the side? Undo them and lift. That's extremely inexpensive for a Callaway. Even if you couldn't wash the element and bought a new one you would be ahead. I know that I loved mine and paid a lot more for it. This will make someone pretty happy.

Watch it... they're only warrantied for 90 days, and that one has a tear in the plenum where the "airbox tab" with the grommet is located.
That grommet is supposed to be indexed over one of the pins on the radiator support. The tear isn't too significant, but to insure that there's no leak, it'd have to be sealed on both sides of the tab. Obviously someone who didn't know what they were doing tried to muscle the airbox off the radiator support. Epoxy/silicon would probably work.
A new K&N filter is $85 + $7 shipping if you're gonna replace the one in the auction. Plus $25 shipping and your already at $159 (opening bid) + $92 +$25 = $276; it won't sell for that with 3-1/2 day left til the close. The price to beat is $450 new shipped from Southern Car Parts. I just paid $325 used, including trading shrouds for one in pristine condition w/cleaner and oil.
