F/S New Heads and Cam (With Pictures now)...Pick them up at Carlisle
Im selling new, never installed Stage II Heads and Cam. I bought them about 4 months ago and have since decided to go with a S/C set up.
The Heads are 11.0 to 1 Compression with 2.02 / 1.600 Stainless Steel Valves. CC Volume is 162.5.
The Cam has a 116.1 atdc Centerline with Intake Duration of 217 and Exhaust Duration of 221. Valve lift is 553.
I will be at Carlsile both Saturday and Sunday. If your interested and would like to look them over I will bring them with me. I can also post pictures if you like. Best offer.

robiferretti-
The work was done by BCE Racing. BCE does all of WestCoast Corvettes Heads and Cams and billet aluminum work. They are more involved with the NHRA big boys, I beleive they have a website but its still under development. They also bulid some of the Pro Import racers Heads like Shawn Carlsons Ford Focus drag car.

Do you think 11 to 1 compression would be too much to run on 93 pump gas ? What is the price for the whole package ?

Re: F/S New Heads and Cam...Pick them up at Carlisle (Corvette Poor)
Corvette Poor-
I think 11 to 1 CR is common for a Top End package. You would need to use 92/93 pump gas always but thats a givin for any C5. This package would require tuning but you would want to do that on any Head and Cam set up to get the best performance.
I dont really have a set price right now, im just looking for the best offer. Keep in mind im not looking for your core Heads and Cam.

Re: F/S New Heads and Cam (CJS)
CJS -
No they are LS1 cores, at least thats what I was told and asked for.
From what I understand, the LS6 Head has different channels for cooling and oil and wouldnt work on the LS1 without modifications.
I will be parked by the C5 Registry Tent, its usually ontop of the hill across from the Dyno setup. My car, check my signature, has chrome Lowenharts 19/20's on it. Let me know what time you would like to meet and I will be there.
Thanks,
Mark V.

Re: F/S New Heads and Cam (Mark V)
FWIW The information that I have seen is that as of 2001 or 2002, both the LS1 and the LS6 are using the same block so oil and cooling ports should be interchangeable.
