853 Heads
SOLD!!! I have a set of 853 take off heads.They came off of a 85k mile car. They would be great for custom head work or clean them up and use them the way they are. There are no rockers just the heads,valves and springs. If you have any questions let me know. These are LS1 heads and will fit all the LS1 motors. $180 shipped and you cover the PayPal fees. I can send pics if you need them.

Back in 2002 I bought a ported set of 853 heads from MMS that were milled to 59 cc to get 11.3:1 on pump gas and with a set of old FLP headers, a very mild cam and a Blackwing intake made 405 rwhp - and that was through 4.10's. The tune was fairly conservative.
I had them refreshed recently by American Heritage near LA and sold them to a forum member who, with headers and a more aggressive cam, made 437 rwhp.
