I have put a new A/C blower fan switch in and it does the same thing. When you change speeds it will sometimes shut off. Then it will come back working. Does anyone have any ideas? Would be greatly appreciated.

I would check to see if your charging system is working right, if your fan is shutting off it could be because you don't have enough power to keep it running without going faster.

Look at the belt tension the belt could be slipping taking away the power needed, or the alternator isn't charging enough to run the fan unless you are moving quickly.

There are many reasons but without seeing it in person, it's kind of hard to figure what is going on.
