I am listing a set of staggered HRE 547R wheels up for sale. It is not often you come by these. The ‘R’ denotes that the wheels have reverse lips, making the wheels themselves look bigger, as they accommodate larger faces. With the reverse lips also comes hidden valve stems, too.
These were originally manufactured for a 2004 C5 Corvette Z06. They will of course fit any 1997-2004 Corvette: Coupe, Hardtop (FRC), or Convertible. They should also fit a fourth generation Camaro or Trans Am, and I believe a C6 Corvette, too.
Front: 19x9.5
Rear: 20x11
From a structural standpoint these wheels are in excellent condition: there are no bends, no kinks, and no cracks. They are solid wheels. On an appearance standpoint, the wheels are not perfect. The faces have been painted black from their original finish, however should the new owner want to have them be flawless, the solution would be to repaint or powdercoat the faces. The lips of the wheels, however are in good shape. The center caps are the upgraded HRE ones - they are polished aluminum rather than the usual plastic ones.
As evident in the photos, one (front) wheel was replaced by HRE under warranty and is brand new. It has never been used.
The wheels come with tires which have decent tread, however they should be replaced soon. The tires are Yokohama Advan Sport. The rears are 305/25/20 (one needs a patch or plug), and the one front wheel has a 275/30/19.
These are ready to ship out and will be shipped with UPS and completely insured in order to make sure you receive exactly what is advertised.
