How do the rear spoilers attach? What is the height of the spoiler?

Our C5 rear spoilers have an enclosed bottom with 4 threaded holes across the board so they can be bolted up from underneath the bumper, drilling on the bumper is required for this step. Some customers have used double sided tape instead of bolting up the spoiler to the rear bumper of their daily driven Corvettes or show Corvettes that are normally hauled on trailer from point to point. However, as always, we strongly advise to have any rear spoiler bolted to the vehicle for safety.
Our ZR1 style rear spoiler for the C5 has a height of just under 2" on its tallest point:
- Exposed Carbon Fiber top layer option:

The C5 Extended version spoiler has an approx. 2.5" height on its tallest point.
