Mine arrived on Monday, planning to get it in on the weekend so I can send the lower box back -- maybe that will help get your's out to you!

Come on guys send those cores back. Has anyone ordered a shifter box in the last nine weeks and received it?? If so how long did it take? I paid for mine 9 weeks ago and no end in sight.

I got mine back in ~ 3 weeks and change but pulled my box and shipped it to Tom so as not to have to wait for a core box to become available. Tom explained it to me in PMs & emails about the wait time because of peeps not returning cores. I am just waiting to install it when the rubber foot that I misplaced comes in that I had to order.

Just received mine and put it in. I waited quite a while for it(not tmods fault, it's people not returning their cores within a reasonable time.) It was well worth the wait. It made a bigger difference than I expected. Gear selection is a lot more clean and gears are easier to find shifting up and down. I got the box along with the 20% tmod short shifter. Super precise and very light compared to other short shifters I've tried (might even take one of my anti-venom washers back off.) The shifter spinning is a tad bit different, but I'm already adjusting to it and it doesn't give me any issues with shifting. Overall the best shifting upgrade I've felt. Thanks again Tom.

I ordered on the 16th of September and received on the 5th of November (last Monday). Today is Saturday, but I don't know if I will get to the installation today or not. As soon as I can I'll get in in and get the core back.
That said, man oh man do the shifter and box look good.

What causes the shifter "spinining" issue and why doesn't the stock shifter spin? Thank you very much.

I said I wasn't going to do it but I did buy 15 more shifter boxes in an effort to get the wait times down. They will be here this upcoming week and I will get them out within a day or two of receiving them. The addition of these boxes into circulation as well should help. I'm also giving the option of including prepaid shipping labels and packaging to return cores with. Now when you get a new box you just toss your old one in the mail, no need to go to the post office or UPS store or anything, just mail it back from home. I'm hoping these changes will shorten the wait times, we shall see. Have a nice weekend everyone, thank you for your support!

Default Gas Caps

Hey everyone, I did a couple billet gas cap for a friend and it turned out really nice so I'm going to do a batch if enough people want them. Here's pics of the one I just finished If you want one chime in or shoot me an email or pm and let me know what you want so I can get a count. They are going to be $60.00. If there enough interest I'm thinking finishing options will be as follows:

Polished with Clear Anodizing
Red, Blue & Gunmetal Anodizing
Black & Grey Metallic Powder Coat

If anything else is more popular is fine with me but in order to get any anodized finishes minimum numbers need to be met. Let me know what you think. The flag pattern Hydrodip is available it's painted white dipped then painted with automotive clear.

I love the shifter and lower box, but the gas cap leaves me cold. What's next on the CNC agenda?
Got my box/shifter installed today, test drive will wait for the moment. Lower box core will go out tomorrow -- took me a moment or three to find the address!

Glad you like it bud! Even if you don't like my gas cap haha. It's not something I would really go for either but I made two right of the batt and I got a compliment from a guy at Chevron the second time I fueled up with it on so I'm running it! It's only a gas cap, I get it, but it is a nice gas cap :^P

Lower box on its way back, so somebody can get theirs soon!
I have to admit, if I had a CNC and the ability to program it I would probably have a plethora of insanely un-marketable do-dads. Back in the day, I used a Clausing Colchester lathe and Bridgeport mill to make an air-cleaner wing nut for my Nova. Probably took 10 hours and $10 of material to make a wing nut. But it was a really cool wing nut...
