The number of outstanding cores is starting to get pretty crazy again. If you have cores that need to be returned PLEASE send them in, we all appreciate it.

I've got some extra Z06 boxes that can go out on Monday or Tuesday with 5% or 20% Shifters or by themselves.

Got a bunch more Z boxes in, ready to ship.

Also just a reminder to remove your rubber foot from the bottom of your old box and silicone it to the new box.

Black rubber foot is installed on the Z06 box, not on the front box.

You received my core back on monday. How bout take 2 minutes n refund my core charge. Took 3 weeks to get my box because of waiting for cores. Why should it take a week to use paypal to make a credit.

Our office manager handles the payments and the core refunds, she does them every few days that's why I say it will be a few days, (she doesn't work everyday) I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I'll try to have her do it today.

Did the box help solve all your problems?

Default Thanks

Thank you for your hard work. I replaced the shifter box on my 14000 mile car. The rubber bushings were dried out so I thought this might be a nice upgrade. It indeed made a nice difference. Install is pretty simple and Im glad I went with your lower box. I definitely recommend it. Thanks again.

Do you rebuild complete shifters to include the uppers. I have stock shifter 2002 C5 and recently completed the shifter adjustment/alignment procedure to fix the grinding when going into reverse. Finally got to drive the car some today. Now I have the grinding reverse intermittently and was wondering if I don't need a completely new or rebuilt unit and not just the lower.

I rebuild\upgrade the lower boxes and the shifters I make myself, I don't reuse any of the factory shifter (top assembly) parts. You can use the factory shifter with my upgraded lower box, but if you want to get the most out of it, remove the most amount of slop and get the most precise shift feel possible I recommend going with my 5% shifter on top of one of my boxes. The factory box and factory shifter unfortunately both have problems and internal components that wear out. Even a brand new box for example will wear out in 20K miles, not as bad with the shifter but pretty close.

I know that there are a lot of people who want their shifter to be smooth and precise but they don't want it to be super hard and short like all the rest of the short shifters on the market. I designed the 5% shifter especially for everyone in this category. The 5% shifter on my box will be as easy to move thru the gears as your factory shifter is, but it will be slop free, smooth and precise. Exactly how you wish it was from the factory.

I'll keep a lower and 5% on my list. Thanks for the quick response.

The lower box upgrade is something every stick shift C5, C6 & C7 owner will benefit from; it addresses shortcomings in the factory box that are otherwise unavoidable. The shifter is more of an upgrade / aftermarket part that changes the characteristics and feeling of how the car preforms.

Got a ton of cores back this week, thanks everyone!! Minimal wait time for orders right now and I think they may stay consistently short going forward!

Some cores come in looking brand new, some look like they came out of a swamp. I spend a lot of time getting them back to 110%. Every box is cleaned / degreased, media blasted, checked for cracks or any other faults machined and re-threaded before they get assembled If they don't pass inspection they go in the trash.

All lubed up and ready for installation .
