Maybe this product is why I have been dragging my feet for so long on installing my new (to me) shifter.
Thanks for all the replies and info.

Yeah, I'm doing linkages as well. I take a factory linkage and cut the ends off. The current ends are kinda like a wannabe universal. I replace them with actual universals, much tighter, no slop and they will last forever. I'm doing one tomorrow I'll post pics if you want. I've done a handful of them, I just don't really advertise it because it's only something that really gets done with a clutch job. That being said, if your in there then yeah, I definitely recommend it.

Nope, no website. I'm still small enough to get to speak with everyone personally. Shoot me an email and let me know what you would like and I'll go over all the details and options with you, make sure you get exactly what it is that your looking for.

Default Shifter Linkage Upgrades Available Now

One of the most overlooked parts in the shifter assembly is the linkage. The shifter linkage has two movable joints, one on each end. With age and milage the ends of the linkage become more and more sloppy. When you add the slop from each end of the linkage and multiply it by the length of the shifter itself it results in just about all the slop you have in your shifter. Your always going to have a tiny bit of slop , a few tho; thousandths of an inch, but once you get rid of the slop in the shifter and the box the linkage is the only thing left. By adding my box and shifter and eliminating the slop in the linkage your going to have the absolute best, most precise and direct feeling shifter you can get in a C5, C6 or C7 Corvette.

Here's a quick video showing a factory linkage in pretty good shape and the new universals.

I'm excited for this linkage.

Do you know if it clears the transmission bellhousing?

$250 for the linkage, $100.00 core charge. (The ends are almost a hundred bucks a pop) it takes about a week for me to get the core linkages right now so they will ship about ten days after they are ordered If you send yours in instead of paying the core I can have it back in the mail within five days.

Yup, the universals I use are a bigger bc they have needle bearings in them but they fit.

Here's the most recent shifter linkage I've done. Compare it to the factory ends, much better in every way absolutely no slop. Compare it to your linkage and you'll see the difference feel the difference in your shifter and thank me later.

If you could PM me with some options that you offer and pricing that would be awesome! I have a b&m ripper shifter in the car right now and it's a bit too notchy feeling for me. Thanks

I installed shifter box yesterday. Nice part. GM should have had the part made like this. I am really impressed with Tom's follow up and quick response to emails, giving tracking #,and the quick refund on the core charge. Very rare in the performance parts business. Thanks Tom would be glad to do more business with you.
