475rwhp 415rwtq ls6 engine for sale or part out
UPDATE: 7/12/18 sorry guys cars been on the back burner have not even looked at it in a while, engine is still in the car and the car is sitting on my trailer and the 416 short block is needing to be assembled but got side tracked since i been modding my harley and having fun with it, but this has to get done so...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
grab coffee or a beer this is a long story but i want potential buyers to fully know what im offering!
this engine has less then 60k on the bottom end (cars has 58,xxx)
when i bought the car a few years ago (52,xxx miles) i installed heads and cam tuned it car made 450ish hp 380ish tq didnt like the cam so about 3k miles ago i re-cammed the car (about 55k miles) at that time i installed new from GM ls2 timing chain, ls6 oil pump re dyno'd car made 475/415 rear wheel tracked the car best of 11.21 @ 121mph (i think # 11 on the zo6 fast list) very street friendly daily it in the summer
i did install nitrous on the car only 1.5 bottles on the engine thanks to the national nitrous shortage but made 599/600 rear wheel (no passes on nitrous so no times) mostly it was on the dyno while tuning and one night 2 pulls on the highway
last summer the timing chain let go car just sat unlil about 10 days ago i was fixing it and one head bolt stripped out (last one passenger side under valve cover) so the engine has to come out to repair it
i always told myself if this engine has to come out id forge the bottom end well a while back i bought a L92 that needs rebuilding just because it was to cheap to leave i had intentions of putting it in my pickup but since this happen decided on 416 for my zo6 so selling this ls6
engine details!
when the chain snapped some valves got bent and marked some of the pistons a little, i talked to a few guys even the one who redone my heads they all said bottom end was good to use (hence me reinstalling the heads)
repair!
seams this is very common on aluminum blocks there is 2 options for fixing this option #1 have the block drilled/tap for 1/2" head studs options #2 install a time sert in the stripped hole $40 or have all the head bolt holes done for $500 up until now i never herd about using time sert's i was told its common with import engines like bmw, mercadies benz & so on very strong and lasting repair im being told if i didnt have the L92 on hand id fix it and use it

like to see if it sells as is first? if not will consider parting it out if enough interest in parts, not 100% sure might just repair it and install it in in 4.8 silverado

Advanced
Would you be willing to send me your tune file? I just finished my engine and have HPTuners but I'm new at this so having something to reference would be helpful.

Parts
I'm interested in the Cam, Lifters, Pushrods, Trunnion upgraded rockers and the Oil Pump if you decide to part it out.
Thanks Harold
