Question: how does one get to the screws, under the roof panel, that attach the fender to the rear tub?

You don't. You slot the holes and slide them in on a replacement fender. Unless of course you want to remove the roof (which no one does). It can't go anywhere and the screws locate the panel perfectly.

OK, that makes sense....thanks Hi Volts Z06. I've replaced the roof on Z06 and know how much work it is!
