Default C5 AFR/MMS 220cc 59cc Heads

Alright guys, up for sale are my Mamo Motorsports 220cc LSx Heads. I spec'd this out with Tony for an optimized C5 setup. Goal was to make 480+ to the wheels. Long story short, I sold my C5 and now have a C6Z, so these have to go. You can find Tony's really detailed explanation on the engineering and goals for these heads here. These are new in the box and never installed. $2,750 Shipped to lower 48. The options I added are as follows:
  • CNC+ Option - Custom valvework and hand finishing of critical parts of the flow path
  • Hollow valve upgrade
  • Severe Duty HR valve springs (8019) upgrade
  • 10mm rocker bolt upgrade
  • Milled to 59cc for an 11.62 to 1 compression ratio on pump 91 (aggressive for pump gas. will be fine in colder weather, but require octane booster when hot out)

Were these on a stock bottom end & cubic inch LS1? If so have any dyno numbers?

As stated in my original post, these were never installed. According to the technical post about them that I referenced above, Tony lists the flow numbers as follows:

3.900 bore

Lift.....Int.....Exh

.200....151....126
.300....214....183
.400....260....217
.500....296....234
.550....311....239
.600....318....243

EDIT: I just re-read this and realize you didn’t ask for the flow numbers. I’ve been sick the last few days and really out of it. I never got around to completing my build, so these are new in the original box. They were spec’d by Tony for a stock bottom end LS1

Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to get with Tony and provide you with the most accurate information. His explanations are as follows:

”92 and 93 octane wouldn't require any additive at any temperature with a proper tune....only 91 octane would require the helping hand in really hot weather”

“First off make sure they are also limited to 91 octane....."warm weather" would be really uncomfortable type of weather like 95 - 100 plus ambient temps”

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

What are the specs and rpm range on the cam designed for these heads. And do you have it? The stock bottom end LS1 factory red line is 6000 rpm, how much further was this packaged designed for?

Unfortunately, we didn't get to the cam before I sold the car. My quote from Tony listed a custom cam and in his notes he mentioned an optimized 227 setup for 480+ on a properly calibrated dyno. This was going to have a ported FAST 102, NW TB, 10mm rockers, short travel lifters, etc. My goal was to not have a huge peak hp car, but to have usable power throughout the rpm range while maintaining streetable manners. I talked to Tony last night and he was confident he could spec a cam that would work well with these heads and meet the needs/requirements of the new owner.

Hope this helps

Hey bud. I’ve been all over the forums for the past month putting my parts together for my H/C set up. I’m at the point now where I’m done holding out for a cheap price on good heads. I’ve decided to just purchase a set a heads brand new. I’m putting out 2k for my head budget and will be ordering a set of heads from trick flow today or tomorrow. I noticed your heads since looking on here and figured I’d throw my offer your way before I pull the trigger on my TF’s.

$2,000 and I’ll cover shipping. Text me at8563753039

I wouldn’t presume to waste your time. If you want them gone I can take them immediately.

I have MMS 220 heads on my 383 nitrous camaro. You will NOT be disappointed in purchasing these. I like them so much, I want to swap the 383 into my c5
