CCW Drag Pack 16” bottom dollar $1750

The time has come for me to go big. I’ve ordered the corvette creationz wide body quarters and I’m ordering 15X12 single beadlocks for this season. Already have the LG spindles.
Fronts are 16X5.5 with M&H Racemaster tires. 185-80-16. They’ve got roughly a few hundred miles on them.
The rears are 16X10. They have a 1” lip and the backspacing looks to be 8 1/16 . The tires are DOT Hoosier drag radials. 295-50-16. They only have a couple hundred street miles and less than a 1/2 dozen passes at the track on them
All rims are polished with black centers. Last I checked the cost new is in excess of $700 per wheel and the wait was 8-10 weeks. The availability may have changed since I spoke with them about 17” fronts.
The rears are a 28” tire and pretty aggressive. I have strange brakes out back and the caliper bracket spaced out the rims 1/2 an inch. On my car, the sidewall extends 1” outside of the quarter. There’s a tight 3/4 of an inch from the inner sidewall to the frame. This tire works well for street type racing but probably isn’t necessary for most people. I think a 275-60-16tire would be ideal for fitment and traction.
Fun fact ....... In February of last year I called CCW to order a different set of rears with more backpacking. I was told the wait was up to 12 weeks. The solution to get the desired backspacing quicker was to order lips and barrels and have them in about 4 weeks. So, I’ve still got my original lips and barrels which will decrease the backspacing by about an inch.
Naturally I’d like to sell local and will travel to meet. I will ship at the buyers expense.
