Default Kleen Wheels Dust Shields

What is the experience Level with products like the Kleen Wheel Dust Shields to eliminate the brake dust on chrome wheels ?? Looks like it could be a good solution. If you know of something better please let me know.

Thanks

They would probably block the dust but also block cooling air. They would look weird on a Vette because the wheel design is very open allowing views of the rotors & calipers like most performance cars.

I think they look weird blocking the rotors like that. I'd rather wipe the grime and show off the brakes.

The brake dust is a pain. I thought about the shields myself, but I like the open look of the brakes.

I use them on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. They slow down the brake dust build up a lot but does not stop it. Put them on my Vett.....Never

Dont use the shields they block the air flow to cool the rotors. Use the duralStop Ceramic pads and you will cut the dust greatly. They work for me.

DON'T PUT THEM ON. THEY DEGRADE BRAKE COOLING. BRAKE DUST IS A NATURAL RESULT OF THE PAD DOING IT'S JOB. JUST CLEAN THE WHEELS AND ENJOY GREAT BRAKES.

Can I pick up these durastops locally? Is the pad change on a vette straight forward like other cars?

Default Kleen wheels

The work great with C4 Sawblade wheels. I have even seen them look good with C5 Wagon wheels on the Pace Cars painted to match the car.

Probably wouldn't look good with the thin spoke C5 wheels.

I've got a set from my C4. If you are interested send me a PM.
