P0441 Code
1998 Corvette coupe with auto trans. LS3 crate 376/525 engine. Keep getting a P0441 code small EVAP leak. Already replaced gas cap. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Bob !!...I looked for my '01 P0441 and none listed...I believe a 0441 for a 98 is a "Evap system no flow during purge"...the purge valve (pic shown) is NORMALLY closed...it is just 2 wires...power and a ground supplied by the PCM when it tests the system...if the PCM doesn't see the PCM pull the 12 volts to ground because of a wiring issue OR a bad purge valve the DTC will set...you can remove the connector and check the wiring visually (have you been messing around in that area ??)...I work at the airport and if you want I can bring my scan tool and swing by after work (I get out at 6:30 PM) and can operate the valve and also with a test light I can check if the PCM is supplying the ground...let me know !!...I'll recheck the DTC description for a '98 when I get home !!....you can check to see if you have 12 volts at the PINK wire which is the feed !!

Ok !!...great !!...I’ll check the 0441 description when I get home...to remove the valve you have to squeeze together both tabs (pictured)
to release each of the plastic hoses...can be tricky !!
