DTC po757
Setting Po757 with high stall converters. Do most tuners just disable DTC po757 with hp tuners, or is there a parameter to adjust to prevent the trouble code? Thanks Ron B.

Code is for shift solenoid B stuck ON--Typically this code is un realted to a high stall converter--
Does your car seem to shift properly ? does the TQ converter LOCK and UNLOCK correctly ? If yes then you can delete these codes permanently presumimg they are false codes due to the stall
However stalls most often create a P1860 or a P1870 code for converter slipping and never for stuck solenoids I would guess if your trans is not fresh failings you may have some failings in line pressure or weak solenoids Un related to the stall converter

when using any stall converter the best fix to eliminate any lock up or unlock issues is to set the TQ converter 'PWM" tables at 90 % minimum and 98% maximum This will allow your TQ converter to rapidly lock or unlock---A trans shop that rebuilds your trans will always set the PWM tables to this by mechanically removeing the check ***** in your TQ converter ro eliminate the stock slow locking however if they don't you can accomplish this with tuning as I have explained
Also most all tuners will delete the 3rd gear lock/unlock this is a huge improvement in trans life a having an engine "lug" at low speeds in 3rd gear

ALSO hi stalls like a 3600 will create "false misfires" nature of the beast --- It is best to eliminate the misfire tables completey
Finally it is reccomended that with a high stall to set all your "shift times" into Adaptive Learning Mode --By setting ALL the shift times to "0"
