Notice I had a small exhaust leak and I'm thinking my right side over the axle 2 bolt flange has burned out the gasket at the bottom. Today I decide I'm going to swap in a new gasket and this time I'm going to throw some high temp RTV just to make sure that it's sealed at the flange. Unhook every thing and the gasket isn't leaking. I clean all the black soot off the flang and notice what looks like two holes in the flange on the weld of the Borla over the axle pipe. I think maybe I just didn't get all the exhaust dust out of that part of the flange when I was wiping it off. I start the car and no kidding, water is leaking out of the weld on the flange.
I can't believe an exhaust that costs this much is leaking at a weld. How do I get this fixed? Does Borla stand behind their products? Do I deal with the vendor that I bought it from or do I just go to a welder and weld the spot that is leaking?
save yourself the trouble and aggravation of it all and get someone to weld it for you it shouldnt take no time to fix and shouldnt have to remove the exhaust to do it
just my 2 cents

A good muffler shop can fix it quick and yes it's a shame the a respected name like Borla should allow defective parts to go out. I'd let them know about it.
I had a problem with the satin finish on my four year old Corsa Indies which are guaranteed for life... I called Corsa, I then sent a few pictures and a copy of my receipt from four years ago, and in three days I had a new system at my door with a call tag for my old system... Free of charge...
I called Borla about the Leaking exhaust flange and they agreed to replace the over the axle pipe but they want me to pay the shipping to return my defective piece. WTF?

Now that sucks... they gave you a bad weld and they want you to pick up the freight for "their" defective part???? are they going to pick up the bill for you having to pay someone to remove their defective system and install the new one???? I dont think so.... the least they could do is send a call tag...
I would ask to speak to someone who is higher-up in the chain of command. BTW, JB Weld will patch up the holes nicely in the meantime. I've used it before and it does as it claims.
My stingers hit my floorpan on the drivrs side when I bought them called borla and got the runaround for 2 weeks, they finally agreed to fix the problem but they wanted me to ship the complete drivers side of my stingers to them ( I paid) another 3 weeks went by and they sent me back the over the axle only! (no muffler) another 2 weeks went by with the same runaround and I got my muffler.
My over the axle pipe still is very close to the floor pan (1/4") but I will live with it rather than try and deal with borlas "fantastic customer service".

MY 2 CENTS!
Man, that sucks! That's the kinda **** that makes me want to take a trip to Borla (Oxnard, CA) with my over the axle pipe in hand and start breaking peoples legs.
I've spoken to customer service twice today and they (Richard the Customer Service manager) told me to just wait until the replacement comes and give him a call after I told him that I wasn't happy about paying $800.00 + shipping, having a defective part and then having to pay to ship it back....
JB Weld didn't even cross my mind.. Thanks for the tip!
