Default RPM Brace Owners Please

I have an 02 Z06 and just installed my RPM Brace. While tightening up the rear cradle I noticed that the passenger side strut is sitting right up against the trunk tub. I can hear it when I put it in reverse especially. I just put a new clutch in the car also so I'm taking it easy for 500 mi. but I'm worried that when I run it hard it will eventually damage the tub. Anyone else have this problem?
